In this ever-changing world of business, there are many phases it goes through, where achieving success has become a farce. It comes with an extra baggage of tension worry and fear.
Success evades many businesses bringing them to a brink of bankruptcy and despair. It thus requires an ability to foresee the fate of a business with a unique blend of business acumen and also an attitude to learn and evolve continuously. This fundamental transformation of attitude requires commitment to succeed with deeply laid out principles of respect, patience and humility. These very values help in accurate decision making and yet not be bogged down by disappointments.
Such deep and profound transformation which allows values to breed and grow requires strength. This strength helps not only to achieve success but also to sustain it. There is a lot of literature available about how to apply and imbibe these highest principles but they do not guide us to build inner strength. God is the only one who is ever powerful. His power, when we are able to link to, makes us very exemplary individuals guiding others through these challenging times.
Unpreparedness can stall the progress, leading to future complications. Every step counts and every decision has its impact on the whole. One wrong turn can lead to a painful and irreversible outcome. Many times, it becomes extremely impossible to recoup from mistakes mage and losses incurred.
That is why it is important to have a consistent guidance so that one can be prepared much before time. Although guidance is given by many but the best guidance comes from one’s own wisdom.
Each challenge requires a novel approach to solutions. Old methods and ways don’t work always. There has to be a very clear and confident approach to facing challenges. It requires great insight, deeper analysis and accurate decision making.The business world faces innumerable challenges with every changing day. This is only possible if one is able to think beyond the self created fears and apprehensions. These fears make problems out of challenges, leading to unhealthy thoughts and feelings.This, is turn, makes it extremely difficult to find a solution. Solutions can only be found within one’s own self. Until and unless one develops the conviction in bringing about patience and courage within oneself, it is impossible to find solutions.This retreat helps in discovering the innate abilities to safe guard one’s own health and inner strength. For, these are the only tools to sustain positive at the face of pressure, in these ever changing times
The peace of life in business is both demanding and exhausting. Due to this, the ability to make accurate decisions, delegate with ease, and foster a positive spirit within the team is diminishing drastically.
This is because there is a continuous struggle to achieve and succeed in a highly competitive environment. Although one is surrounded by capable and skillful individuals, conflicts and disharmony among people still persist. This naturally leads to dissatisfaction and a lack of enthusiasm.
Succeeding in business and industry is not entirely about visible perks, better position or monetary benefits. It is also about having a greater working environment, a strong team and sense of security in life. It is important because, a lack of all these brings stress, anxiety and frustration.
Two retreats were held in the Head Quarters on the topic, “Golden Era for Business through Spiritual Enlightenment”. One was a National-Workshop-cum-Meditation retreat at Gyan Sarovar Complex in Mt.Abu from 27th to 31st July, 2018 and the other was a National-Conference-cum-Meditation retreat in the Shantivan complex in Abu Road, from 31st August to 4th September, 2018.
The main speakers for the workshop in Gyan Sarovar were Didi Dr.Nirmala ji, Director of Gyan Sarovar complex, Bro.ML Sharma ji, Vice chairperson,B&I Wing, Sis.BK Yogini, National Co-ordinator, B&I Wing, under whose able guidance this workshop was organized, Sis.BK Geeta, the B&I Wing Headquarters’ coordinator and others.
Sis.BK Shivani also addressed the gathering on this occasion, mentioning that when we make our Sanskars divine, we are able to transform our own homes into heavens. She quoted the example of the brothers and sisters serving in Gyan Sarovar. Bro.Kiran Mani, the Director of Google retail also gave his greetings and good wishes on this occasion. Bro.Piyush from the United States also shared about Brahma Kumaris helping him to think positive, which helps bring solutions to all problems. Sis.Madhu Chopra, mother of film actress Priyanka Chopra also shared about the importance of spirituality in business and how we can make our sanskars elevated. There was a beautiful welcome dance performance by Aparna Nrityalay from Mumbai and a welcome song by Madhurvani group, Brahma Kumaris, Abu. 500 delegates from all over the country, representing various organizations, took benefit from the various workshops, talks and experience sharing by seniors.
Also, 5500 delegates attended the conference in Shantivan, which was inaugurated by Dadi Jankiji, the administrative head of the institution. Dadiji inspired everyone to only see virtues in one another and to do business only in this way.
